Ladies' Dove Fellowship

The June Ladies’ Dove Fellowship was on the 10th at Becky Jaciuk’s beautiful home. The ladies were excited to welcome our missionary Deneen Akers for this fellowship and they really enjoyed getting to know her and hear some of her stories from the mission field. We were also happy to welcome a first time visitor and the group numbered around 15. After a cheerful time of fellowship, we were invited to share the delicious food which included tasty treats like taquitos, sloppy joes, fresh seasonal fruit, pretzel bites, and mini pecan pies, among other things. It was a delightful meal, and we enjoyed sharing stories and laughter together as we ate.
After dinner, Diana Oakley gave us a devotional. She shared her heart with us about growing in the garden of God’s grace; remembering how precious His grace is to us and allowing that knowledge to grow the grace in our hearts that we need for ministering to those around us. Diana’s words to us were thoughtful, sincere, scripture-filled, and a great encouragement.
The final treat of the evening was Becky’s famous homemade ice cream and gingerbread cookies. They tasted delicious alongside Diana’s grill-shaped brownie bites, complete with gummy skewers. Becky sent us home with gorgeous floral Swedish Dishcloths and a recipe for homemade power wash! The HBC ladies enjoyed a beautiful evening together and praise the Lord for His goodness to us that we are so privileged to share with each other!
