Fall Work Day

A pleasant fall day to get together and work through a well thought out list by Pastor and members of the congregation. Apart from sprucing up the property, it helped reinforce the need to be good stewards of what God has blessed us with, be a good testimony in the community, serve one another with love. Several members of the church showed up even prior to the 8 AM start time and helped accomplish a sampling of tasks below:

Clear out the storage shed
Excavate the aged railroad ties around the tree at the end of the parking lot and clean around it
Pressure wash the sidewalk, breezeway and the pump house
Prune the hydrangeas and clear the area around it
Scrub and wash the church sign
Reorganize the fellowship hall storage room
Scrub and clean the tables in the fellowship hall
Scrub and sanitize the high chairs
Clean and replace stained ceiling tiles in the fellowship hall
Clean and wipe down the windows inside and outside the auditorium
Relocate the steel chairs to the pump house
Arrange the blue cushioned chairs in children’s church
Tighten all door handles
De-lint and vacuum all the pews
Sanitize and wipe down all toys in the nursery and play room
Pick up trash around the property
and many more..

Praise God for the lovely weather, health, servant leadership and hearts of gratitude to be able to get together as a church family and accomplish these things.
