Christmas Banquet - December 13, 2015
Our annual Christmas banquet this year was a blast. We enjoyed a great covered dish supper and had all kinds of food. Mary Oliver and Lillian Parker played a flute duet of Silent Night. The children sang When Jesus Has A Birthday. Mekeilah, Caitlyn and Sophie Cox sang His Name is at the Top as a trio. Devotions by pastor were based on Matthew 2.11, "And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh." The three top prizes for funny sweaters went to Gracie Cole, Julie Parker and A.J. Williams. We had lots of fun exchanging white elephant gifts. 62 folks attended and it was a terrific night.
